One of Flambards popular rides will reopen in time for the August Bank Holiday, just two months after announcing it would be retired along with several others.

After an unexpected closure in June due to supply chain challenges, the popular Sky-Force ride will be back up and running this Bank Holiday (Monday, August 26)

In June Flambards announced that SkyForce was one of the rides set to leave the park along with The Thunderbolt, Sky Swinger, and the iconic rollercoaster, The Hornet.

The park stated at the time that the decision was made ‘after years of faithful service’ and understood the disappointment the news would cause visitors.

A spokesperson for Flambards said at the time: “We understand this news will be disappointing for some, as these rides have been a beloved part of Flambards for many years.

“However, the safety of our guests is our top priority. We are excited to introduce new attractions and hope you will continue to enjoy all the other rides and attractions that Flambards has to offer."
