Despite a slightly uncertain sky, the Budock Carnival was a resounding success, bringing the community together.

The afternoon was filled with laughter, music, and a parade that brought together residents of all ages.

This year's procession was led by Pendennis Brass Falmouth, setting the stage for a colourful display of fancy dress.

From the wise and mischievous Three Wise Monkeys to the characters of Toy Story, from a swarm of buzzing Bumble Bees to an array of Creatures of the Sea.

The Falmouth Marine Band, with their trademark uniforms and music, brought the procession to a grand finale.

Carnival entries were judged by local MP, Jayne Kirkham and by Budock councillor, David Saunby.

Despite the occasional threat of rain and a persistent wind, a large crowd of spectators lined the streets cheering on the participants.

The event ended with a lively atmosphere at the Trelowarren Arms, where music, singing, and a barbecue provided the perfect ending to a memorable day.

The carnival wouldn't have been possible without the support of the community.

Special thanks were given to Pendennis Brass Falmouth, Falmouth Marine Band, Gylly Wellbeing Swimmers, and the Trelowarren Arms for their contributions.
