A woman has been charged with multiple offences after a string of incidents that alarmed residents in Camborne.
Devon and Cornwall Police have reassured members of the public following concerns which had recently circulated on social media, regarding a female entering homes in the area.
Following a thorough investigation, a woman has been charged with three counts of burglary, one attempted burglary, two assaults and fraud.
The woman has been remanded in custody and will appear in court to face these charges later today.
Police have now thanked members of the community for their help.
A force spokesperson said: “We appreciate that community's vigilance and encourage reporting any suspicious activity to the police using 101 which has a call-back facility or by email through our website.
“In an emergency, always dial 999.”
