Police say they are hoping to get a narrow road re-opened shortly after a bus got stuck trying to go round a parked camper van.
Police were called to Helston Road, Penryn earlier today after the bus, which was not in service tried to squeeze past the camper van.
While the van was not illegally parked it was far too wide to allow large vehicles to get past.
The bus managed to snag itself on the camper van as it tried to get through.
The road is notorious for vehicles being unable to pass because of vehicles parked at the side of the road and residents have long complained about the problem which has caused some physical altercations in the past.
Traffic was reportedly being redirected through Saracen while the police tried to resolve the situation.
Pictures taken by Stefan Bolton show the road completely blocked by the bus which ironically has "not in service" on the front of it.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said they were currently at the scene and hoped to move the vehicles shortly and clear the road.
"We are currently in Penryn where the road is blocked as a bus has become stuck trying to get past a parked campervan," they said.
"The campervan will be moved shortly and traffic should clear soon after."
By 3.30pm however it was reported that the bus had been moved.
