A much-loved Cornish clothing brand will bring its coastal style to a new American shore this weekend.
Seasalt Cornwall has announced that it will officially open its new store in the USA aptly on Cape Cod in Falmouth, Massachusetts.
The new store is an important milestone in the Brand’s US expansion plans, with more stores planned over the next year and beyond.
Located in the heart of Falmouth, MA the new shop will officially open its doors on Saturday, September 14. With 2,500 square feet of retail space, it will be the largest across all locations for Seasalt.
The new store team has been hired locally, bringing their knowledge of the area and community.
Seasalt CEO Paul Hayes described the Falmouth MA store as 'our home from home,' highlighting the shared coastal spirit and values.
“Falmouth, on the Cape, was an obvious choice for us to start our journey across the Atlantic – we see it as our home from home,” he said.
“Many of our existing US customers discovered the brand on a visit to the UK so we know that our stores here have resonated with them.
“We are confident that our reputation for exceptional customer service, the quality and aesthetic of our collection and our commitment to doing the right thing for people and the planet will appeal to customers in Falmouth and future US locations.”
The store’s design and layout have been carefully considered, with the attention to detail that customers have come to expect from Seasalt.
The shop reflects the brand’s handwriting throughout, bringing Cornwall to the Cape by celebrating a mix of local and Cornish makers and artists from Falmouth UK to Falmouth MA.
A comprehensive collection of womenswear, zoned by product and category for a customer experience will be on display in the Falmouth MA store, including Seasalt’s iconic rain collection, as well as a curated edit of its menswear range to support further growth.
The Falmouth MA store will offer a wide range of fits and sizes to cater to the diversity of its customer base, from US size 4 to US size 22/24.
