THIS week’s Step Back in Time takes us to the streets of Penryn during the Penryn Carnival in July 1975.
In the nostalgic images, we see happy faces, costumes, and a festive atmosphere that was undoubtedly a highlight of the summer for the local community.
Amidst the carnival fun, there was a special treat – the Falmouth Packet brand new Ford Escort van and caravan rig.
These photos provide a glimpse into the past, showcasing the simple joys of community events at the heart of people’s lives.
