The incredibly rare Harvest Supermoon illuminated the night sky across Cornwall, the UK, and beyond on Tuesday.
The rare lunar event occurs when a full moon reaches its closest point to Earth during its orbit, creating a captivating sight.
The Met Office explains that a supermoon appears 30 per cent brighter and 14 per cent larger in the sky than a regular full moon.
Social media was flooded with stunning images of the rare wonder, with many expressing awe and sharing how they'd never seen the moon so large and bright before.
