A Cornwall coast path walk took a dangerous turn for a woman after she was injured by a charging cow.
It was just one of several incidents that Lands End Coastguard Search & Rescue Team have responded to in a busy week
The incident involved a woman who was injured after being charged by a cow while walking along the coast path near Portheras Cove, Pendeen.
The crew located the woman, assessed her injuries, and escorted her safely to her vehicle along with a friend.
Just a few days later, the team joined colleagues in Penzance for a safety patrol along the promenade due to severe weather conditions. The crew patrolled the area from the skatepark to the Jubilee Pool, speaking with members of the public and ensuring their safety.
As the patrol was concluding, the team received an urgent call about someone in the water near Newlyn Harbour. They responded quickly, donned their rescue gear, and rushed to the scene.
Upon arrival, they discovered the individual was safe and well and did not require assistance.
