Packet Beauty Therapist of the Year winner, Tava, Falmouth

Tava on Boslowick Road, Falmouth was announced as one of the joint winners this year, with Cinnabar Health and Beauty Centre in Mylor Bridge also taking the crown.

At the helm of this beauty salon – which has an incredible 1.4k followers on Facebook – is Lexie Hearley.

Lexie who lives in Falmouth told the Packet she wasn’t sure the salon had won but had a ‘feeling’ when a customer congratulated her.

Tava is located on Boslowick Road, Falmouth (Image: Google Maps) However, after confirmation from the Packet that Tava had been jointly named the best in Cornwall, Lexie shared her excitement and appreciation for all those who voted.

She said: “It’s so lovely to be named the winner.

“We appreciate, and are very grateful to those who took the time to vote." 

In a Facebook post shared on Tava, Lexie says that she believes the success comes from their happy clients.

The salon which will celebrate its 20th year in April has a broad range of treatments including waxing, facial treatments, facials and derma planning, ear piercing, hair removal, nails and tanning.

Tava is open daily bar Sunday. On Monday Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays it is open from 9am to 5.30pm. On Wednesdays, it remains open until 7pm, while on Saturdays it closes slightly earlier at 3pm.
