A student's "stunning" photo of East Pool Mine has won a national photography competition.
Jamie Hurst, from Cornwall, was named the UK winner in the Global Travel and Tourism Partnership competition.
Her image of the National Trust Cornish Heritage site was selected as the best picture in the UK, and it now features on the winning organisation's website.
Ms Hurst, who recently completed a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism at the Cornwall College Camborne, returned to education in her mid-30s.
She is now studying International Tourism Management at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Reflecting on her success, Ms Hurst said: "I'm grateful for the support and guidance I received at Cornwall College.
"They helped me build my confidence and discover my passion for photography.
"Cornwall College has ignited my passion for photography and allowed me to participate in the Global Travel and Tourism Partnership, where I am proud to say that I have won the UK segment."
Study programme manager for hospitality, Suzette Sadler, said: "We are delighted to celebrate Jamie's success in this international competition.
"Being part of the GTTP is invaluable to our students as it connects them with peers and industry leaders worldwide."
