As the search for a missing pensioner in Cornwall continues, the police have today shared a CCTV image just two days before she was reported missing.
Ann Stacey, 79 was last seen at her home in St Cleer, Liskeard on Friday, September 27. However, police have said that her movements following are ‘currently not known’.
Today, (Monday) police have shared an image of Anne which was taken from CCTV in Liskeard which she visited two days before her being reported as missing.
Over the last few days, a significant policing operation has been underway to locate Anne by specially trained teams and Search and Rescue volunteers.
This has included house-to-house visits, vast area searches and CCTV enquiries.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “We have also received a large number of possible sightings of Anne, which officers have followed up on but at this time, none of these have been confirmed.
“The local community will continue to see officers out today and we’d urge anyone who lives in St Cleer to check their gardens, sheds and outbuildings as well as doorbell and dashcam footage.”
Police have described Anne as a white female, around 5ft 3ins tall and of slim build. She has grey hair in a long bob and wears reading glasses.
She uses two walking sticks and may be wearing a pair of blue crocs.
At this time, the police do not have a confirmed description of what she was wearing when she went missing.
Police are appealing to the public for help to locate Anne, and have asked that anyone with any information on her whereabouts be reported to police by calling 999 or quoting log 817 of October 3.
