Rewind Radio is celebrating its third anniversary at the end of the month with a special event for listeners.
The Cornwall-based radio station has been at the heart of the community for the past three years, delivering a mix of music, news, and local content.
To support its growing listener base, the station is expanding its offices to accommodate new staff.
To mark the occasion, Rewind Radio is set to host a Radiothon on October 31, 2024.
The event, sponsored by Focus Technology, will raise funds and awareness for three charities: HD Livin', Cornwall Hospice Care, and Penhaligon’s Friends.
It will feature special segments, interviews, an auction, and music.
The station is also celebrating a new partnership with BYD Truro, part of City West Motors.
As part of this collaboration, BYD has gifted managing director Richard Woods a new BYD Seal, an electric vehicle with a range of over 350 miles.
Mr Woods said: "Rewind Radio has come so far in just three years, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved as a team.
"The support from our community, partners, and sponsors has been overwhelming.
"The new BYD Seal will certainly keep me on the move as we continue to expand and connect with our listeners."
Rewind Radio has thanked its listeners, sponsors, and the community for their support over the past three years.
The station is looking forward to a bright future with new staff, partnerships, and initiatives like the Radiothon.
Daniel Preston from BYD Truro is offering test drives of the BYD Seal.
To arrange a test drive, potential customers can contact him on 01872 301380 or visit the showroom at Tresillian.
Rewind Radio is committed to supporting its growing listener base and ensuring quality programming as it continues to grow and expand.
The station is excited about the future and the continued support from the community, partners, and sponsors.
