Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a two vehicle collision left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.
The accident happened in Bugle on Thursday, October 17 involving a red Lexmoto motorcycle and a grey BMW car on Fore Street, Bugle, at around 8.30pm.
The motorcyclist received serious injuries in the accident and was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. The driver of the BMW was not injured.
The road was closed until 11pm while the police carried out an investigation.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police investigating a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Bugle on Thursday 17 October are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
"Officers were called to reports of a collision involving a red Lexmoto motorcycle and a grey BMW car on Fore Street, Bugle, at around 8.30pm.
"As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital. The driver of the BMW was uninjured.
"Officers from the Alliance Armed Response, Neighbourhood Team and Roads Policing Team attended the scene. Once an investigation had been conducted the road was re-opened at around 11pm.
"Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information regarding it – in particular anyone with any with dashcam footage, is asked to contact Devon and Cornwall Police via our website here or by calling 101 quoting log number 808 of 17/10/24."
