Fitness enthusiasts across Cornwall now have a new 24/7 option to fuel their passion, thanks to the grand opening of Snap Fitness in Truro.
Snap Fitness, based on the Treliske Industrial Estate is a new state-of-the-art 24-hour gym allowing people to use its equipment at any time of the day.
The 9,000+ square foot gym boasts connected cardio equipment that allows members to link their fitness wearables and even stream Netflix or Disney+ during workouts.
It also includes one of the largest weight areas in Cornwall, with three Olympic lifting platforms and a further three on the way.
In addition, for people who enjoy group exercise, the gym also has two group exercise studios, including a dedicated spin studio with eye-catching lights that match the music in the class.
The gym is owned by franchisee Mark Williams, who said he was “proud” to open his first Snap Fitness location. He said: “We’re delighted that our opening day has finally arrived.
“The reaction from the local community has been unbelievable and it was great to see the enthusiasm from our members who were queuing up to enjoy their first workout here!
“We’re really proud of the gym that we’ve created and the work that’s gone into ensuring the design and equipment offering reflects what the local community wanted.
“We understand that the gym can be an intimidating place for people but that won’t be the case here.
“Our goal is to be the most inclusive gym in the area and that people feel completely at ease when they walk through our door.”
Beyond the fitness equipment, Snap Fitness Truro members will benefit from a relaxing, recovery area which includes Thera body massage guns and vibrating wave foam rollers.
For those wanting to refresh after their workout, the gym has a range of private showers and changing rooms, as well as a vanity area with GHD hairdryers and straighteners.
Membership to Snap Fitness Truro includes round-the-clock access, instructor-led and virtual group exercise classes, a member smartphone app and reciprocal access to all 1,000+ global Snap Fitness locations.
