This weekend, communities across Cornwall will come together to honour those who lost their lives in conflicts worldwide.
Remembrance Day parades and services will take place on Sunday, November 10, and Monday, November 10, offering an opportunity to remember and pay tribute to those who have served and sacrificed.
Here's a schedule of the 2024 Remembrance Day parades and services across Cornwall this weekend:
Camborne
Sunday, November 10
10.25am: Remembrance Parade departs from Commercial Square.
11.00am: Remembrance Service at Camborne Church.
Constantine
Sunday, November 10
10.30am: A service of remembrance will take place at St Constantine Church.
Representatives from several organisations in Constantine will lay wreaths on the War Memorial.
Falmouth
Sunday, November 10
9.45am: Civic Party assembles at Atherton Suite, The Old Post Office.
10.25am: Parade formation on the Moor Piazza.
10.35am: Parade departs to Kimberley Park.
11.00am: Service at the War Memorial, including a two-minute silence and wreath laying.
11:30am: Parade returns to the Moor for a march past and salute by the Town Mayor.
11:35am: Parade disperses.
Monday, November 11
10.50am: Gather at the St Nazaire Memorial on the Prince of Wales Pier for a two-minute silence at 11:00am.
Helston
Sunday, November 10
10.30am: Remembrance Parade departs from Trengrouse Way Extension Car Park, led by the Helston Town Band.
11.00am: Traditional Remembrance Service at the Garden of Remembrance, Grylls Monument.
3.00pm: Wreath-laying ceremony at the war memorial outside St Michael's Church.
Monday, November 11:
11.00am: Two-minute silence led by the Royal British Legion.
On Saturday, November 9 at 7pm St Michael's Church will host a special Remembrance concert featuring the Helston Town Band and Culdrose Military Wives Choir.
Tickets are available to buy for £5 at the door on the night, or by calling 01326 561874. All proceeds made will go to the Poppy Appeal.
Mullion
Sunday, November 10
10.45am: Service around the War Memorial in Mullion Parish Churchyard, followed by a short service in the church afterwards. Revd will lead both of these services. Ken Buckler.
Newquay
Sunday, November 10
9.30am: Parade formation at the car park on Fore Street.
10.00am: Parade departs for St Michael's Church.
11.00am: Church service followed by wreath laying at the Newquay War Memorial.
Monday, November 11
10.45am: Wreath-laying ceremony at the Newquay War Memorial by the Royal British Legion.
Penryn
Sunday, November 10
10.45am: The parade will set off at Penryn Temperance Hall. It will then proceed to St Gluvias Church, followed by a wreath laying and Remembrance Sunday service at 11am.
Penzance
Sunday, November 10
10.35am: Remembrance Parade from St John's Hall to the War Memorial at Battery Rocks.
10.50am: Remembrance Service and wreath laying.
Monday, November 11
10.45am: Gather in the Memorial Gardens in Penlee Park.
11.00am: Short service and two-minute silence.
Porthleven
Sunday, November 10
2.00pm: Remembrance Sunday Procession assembles at the Public Hall.
2.15pm: Service at the Methodist Chapel.
2.30pm: Wreath Laying at the War Memorial.
Monday, November 11
11.00am: Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial.
Redruth
Sunday, November 10
10.40am: Parade forms on Sea View Terrace and departs.
11.00am: Two-minute silence and wreath laying at the war memorial in Victoria Park.
11.30am: Service and refreshments at St Andrew's Church.
St Keverne
Sunday, November 10
10.40am: Procession leads from Gof Statue to St Keverne Square
12.15pm: Service at St Peter's Church
Truro
Sunday, November 10
11.00am: Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial in Boscawen Street.
2.30pm: Wreath Laying Ceremony at the War Memorial, followed by a military parade.
3.15pm: Service of Remembrance at Truro Cathedral.
Monday, November 11
11.00am: Two-minute silence at the War Memorial in Boscawen Street, led by the Royal British Legion.
