The Garden Cafe in Newquay has picked up a National Good Food Award for the second year running.
The café, based at the Heritage Cottages in Newquay’s stunning Trenance Gardens has once again been selected for the award for 2024.
After the delight of the first win in 2023 the café has worked hard throughout 2024 and through its customer service and value for money heritage menu to be chosen once again.
“We celebrate top-notch food, service, and value, basing our awards on what matters most: customer opinion," says the Good Food Awards.
"By using customer feedback/online reviews/nominations/votes, we ensure our awards reflect genuine dining experiences. Many awardees continue to shine by maintaining the high standards that first earned them recognition.”
This was very much the case with The Garden Café in winning for a second year which has also just won Newquay in Bloom for Best Café and this Thursday is also up for Best Café in The Cornwall Tourism Awards.
The dog friendly café focuses on Cornish favourites such as proper job Cornish Cream Teas with homemade scones as well as homemade cakes, light lunch affordable options with. a heritage theme and off-season events at Halloween and Christmas with tailored themed food and drink.

The whole team at the café said it would like to thank their customers.
“Thank you to all our customers, both local regulars and summer visitors who have been so kind as to leave reviews and vote for us," they said.
"We are a small café that likes to create memories with a heritage twist for all who visit and it’s great to see that recognised and our hard working team rewarded”
