UPDATE: Devon and Cornwall Police have issued an update on Wednesday lunchtime to say: "David Forsyth, who has been reported missing from Camborne, has been located safely. Thank you to all who shared our appeal."
Police are searching this evening for a man who has now been missing more than 36 hours as of Tuesday evening, and is described as "high risk."
David Forsyth is missing from the Camborne area and was last seen at around 6.30am on Monday (November 11).
The 54-year-old has links to both Camborne and Scotland.
He was last seen wearing jeans, fleece, a dark coat and trainers, and was carrying a rucksack.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police are appealing for the public's assistance in locating a high risk missing person, David Forsyth.
"David has gone missing from the Camborne area on Monday 11th November 2024 at 0630hrs.
"David is described as a 54-year-old white male with a medium build. He is approximately 5ft 9in tall.
"He has short grey receding hair with a grey beard.
"He was wearing a dark green fleece, a dark navy/black coat, blue jeans and black trainers. He was also carrying a grey rucksack.
"David has links to Camborne and Scotland."
Anyone thinks they may have seen David since then, or knows where he is, should call police on 101, quoting log 0359 of November 12, 2024 to report any sightings.
