A five-star family holiday park in Cornwall has been named the best in the UK.
Trevornick Holiday Park in Holywell Bay, Newquay, has been named the UK's top holiday park at the AA Caravan and Camping Awards 2024.
The prestigious award recognises the nation's finest campsites and caravan parks, with Trevornick impressing judges with its exceptional quality, outstanding customer service, and dedication to going above and beyond.
The park's diverse range of facilities, from food trucks to challenging golf courses, contributed to its well-deserved recognition.
Robert Hartley, Owner of Trevornick Holiday Park said: “We are absolutely over the moon to be recognised as the best holiday park in the UK.
“What an achievement, it doesn’t get any better than this! This year marks our 61st year of business so this award is a fantastic way to celebrate – the team smashed it.”
Robert’s brother and Co-Owner Richard Hartley said: “Over the years, we have added more and more things to-do at Trevornick so you don’t even need to leave the park – you could stay here for 7 days and never need to venture out.
“This is why guests love it and return year after year.”
The five-star holiday park is home to an impressive selection of facilities including a heated swimming pool, woodland adventure trails, two fishing lakes, two 18-hole golf courses (par three and pitch and putt) as well as mini golf and boasts some of the most impressive views in the entire country.
With the park being just moments away from the soft white sand of Holywell Bay, this holiday park is perfect for families from Cornwall and beyond. In addition, Holywell Bay is notorious for its waves, making it an ideal location for keen surfers.
The outdoor heated swimming pool and ‘splash zone’ featuring tipping bucket jets as well as a sauna, hot tub and spa is enough to keep both children and adults entertained during their stay.
When it comes to staying guests are able to choose from modern and contemporary static caravans that offer a home-from-home experience, well-spaced touring and camping pitches.
Euro-style ready tents as well as luxury lodges aptly named ‘Gull Rocks Beach’ due to their prominent position overlooking Holywell Bay Beach and Gull Rocks. The holiday park is also home to three Cornish cottages and a farmhouse that’s made for large family get-togethers.
