Police have named a man who died in Illogan in the early hours of Tuesday and have charged one person with murder.
Shane Lynch (pictured), who was local to the Illogan area, was found seriously injured at a property in Bosmeor Park at around 4.20am on Tuesday (November 12). The 39-year-old died at the scene.
A murder investigation was launched, with four people arrested in connection with the death.
Now Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed they have charged a man.
Daniel Lynch, aged 38, of Bosmeor Park, Illogan, has been charged with murder.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Bodmin Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday, November 16).
A 22-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman, who were both arrested on suspicion of murder, have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
A 32-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released under investigation.
