A man has been arrested following an incident outside RNAS Culdrose this afternoon (Wednesday).
Police were called just after 12pm this afternoon to concerns about the welfare of a man on the A3083 carriageway outside the Naval Air Station
Police say that the man approached the main gates of RNAS Culdrose, and then attempted to gain entry onto the base.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at around 12.05pm on Wednesday, November 20 following a concern for the welfare of a man on the A3083 carriageway outside RNAS Culdrose near Helston.
"The man then approached the main gates before attempting to gain entry to the base.
"Officers attended and arrested the man on suspicion of a breach of the peace."
