An award-winning Cornish Christmas attraction has announced that Santa will visit its final event.
The Tunnel of Lights, which won a bronze award in the Tourism Event/Festival of the Year category at the Cornwall Tourism Awards, will open for the last time on Friday, December 6.
Santa will be present at the attraction on December 6 to 8, 13 to 15, and 20 to 23, interacting with visitors and posing for selfies.
However, on Christmas Eve, he will be too busy to attend but will send two of his elves in his place.
Lynné Raubenheimer from the Shipwreck Treasure Museum said: "Our team of creatives are busily putting together this year’s dazzling Tunnel of Lights and it’s very exciting that we’ve pulled off a real coup by getting Santa to join us on specific dates.
"He will be free-flowing through Christmas Land and meeting our guests.
"It is going to be so much fun and a bonus for visitors as it is included in the event ticket price.
"Our opening four dates of this year’s event are already fully booked, and tickets are selling at a record pace.
"Sadly, this will be our last event, but we are looking forward to going out in style and recommend that anyone wishing to join us books soon to avoid missing out, particularly on the pre-Christmas dates when Santa or his elves will be with us."
Tickets for the event, which runs until Tuesday, December 31, are available to book online.
