The owner of one of Helston’s Coffee Hut is bidding a final emotional farewell to her customers as she leaves her “happy place” for the final time.
Natasha Mossayebi announced back in July she was selling Coffee Hut in Coinage Ope and this will be her final week after new owners bought it.
Natasha, better known as Tash, founded the Coffee Hut, a cafe and coffee shop in Helston, five and a half years ago.
During that time the business has successfully navigated the Covid pandemic and a credit crunch and has also seen development of its own.
Initially based in the entrance area to Fatty’s Barbers, at the top of Coinagehall Street, in July 2023 the Hut moved across the road to its own dedicated premises in Coinage Ope, the alleyway leading to the Tyacke Road car park.
It has built up a strong fan base of customers who visit regularly for the Hut's famous wraps and cakes, smoothies and of course coffees.
In a touching post on Facebook, Tash thanked all her customers for their loyal support and urged them to support the new owners who were taking over “very shortly”.
“I honestly don’t know where to start,” she said. “I can’t thank you all enough for the support you’ve given me from day one.
“You’ve been the most incredibly loyal customers and community, and I’ve made some true friendships along the way.
She said the biggest thanks was to her amazing team who had worked so hard for her and genuinely cared.
“All of you (even the challenging ones) have taught me SO much and I couldn’t have done it without you all,” she said.
“I’m leaving with the happiest of memories and the fullest of hearts. So much magic has taken place in our beautiful hut…tarot card evenings, women’s circles, parent and baby groups, meditations, birthdays parties, balls and banter, moon circles…so many connections made which will last a lifetime and I’m honoured to be a part of that.
“This space has been my happy place for such a long time.”
She said the biggest thank you was to her incredible family and friends whose support and love has seen her through some of the toughest times.
She said she would be introducing the new owners very shortly and urged her customers to support them.
