The team behind organising the Christmas Lights switch-on event in Helston has shared some important information about the event next Friday.
The Helston Christmas Lights committee has revealed there will be displays which will now span across the width of Cross Street as well as the usual popular lights.
Committee chairman Rob Williams commented: "We've also spent many hours restoring some of Helston's favourite older lights, enhancing them with brighter LED rope which will freshen up our displays considerably.”
Rob also has thanked the hard-working volunteers who have been helping to put the lights up around Helston over the past few weeks.
He said: “The Lights Crew have worked hard over the last few weeks to bring you this year’s display, and I’d like to thank them all for their voluntary time, often starting at 6am to get ahead of traffic that soon builds up and working well into the afternoons.”
