Due to Storm Bert and expected high winds, the Lost Gardens of Heligan's Night Garden will be closed tomorrow.
With gusts of up to 50 to 70 mph and a yellow weather warning issued, the decision has been made following ‘careful consideration’ of the safety of visitors and staff to close the Night Garden.
A post shared on the Heligan Facebook page states: “After careful consideration, extremely strong winds forecasted and a yellow weather warning in place, we have made the decision not to open the gardens or the Heligan Night Garden on Saturday 23rd November in the interest of safety.”
Anyone who has pre-booked tickets for Saturday, November 23rd, will receive an email shortly with further information regarding their booking.
The Gardens will monitor the weather situation closely and will provide updates as necessary.
Meanwhile, it's not just Heligan taking precautions to ensure the public's safety.
