A man in his fifties has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a serious assault in Camborne.
He was arrested on Saturday night November 23 at around 11pm following the assault.
He is currently in custody at Camborne Police Station.
Police say they continuing to make enquiries in connection with the incident but are not looking for anyone else in connection with it.
A statement from Devon and Cornwall Police said: "An arrest was made at around 11pm on Saturday 23 November in connection to a serious assault in Camborne.
"A man in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in custody at Camborne Police Station.
Police enquiries remain ongoing in relation to this incident, and we are not currently seeking anyone else."
