This year’s Helston Fatstock Show has been hailed a success by its organisers.

Hundreds of people attended the one-day show which was held at Franchis Farm courtesy of its owner Mr Bob Cowell on November 9.

Exhibitors from across Cornwall flocked to the long-running winter livestock show, showcasing their prize livestock and produce to enthusiastic judges.

In addition to the livestock and domestic sections, guests enjoyed browsing through the impressive Christmas market.

The show’s charity fundraising efforts saw £2,650 raised for The Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust’s HELi 2 Appeal. Morwenna Smart, community fundraiser for the trust, received a cheque from the show president this year, Mr Rex Sadler.
