Police are appealing for information and footage after a "substanial amount of money" was stolen in a commercial burglary in Cornwall. 

Officers are investigating the incident in Newquay, which took place at the end of last month. 

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "At around 00.30am on Wednesday, October 30, two suspects forced entry into a business on Fore Street.

"Once inside they stole a substantial amount of money before leaving the scene.

"Officers investigating the burglary are asking anybody with relevant information or CCTV or camera footage near the location at around the time of the offence, to get in touch."
