Cornwall Council is continuing its sell-off of small patches of land across Cornwall with five more put up for auction this month.
In Penzance, a triangular parcel of land next to Penzance Park and Ride has a freehold guide of £10,000 plus in the latest sale by Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers.
The council-owned site, which is also next to a Sainsbury’s supermarket, measures about 0.15 hectares (0.37 acres).
Over in Penryn, two parcels of land at the Kernick Industrial Estate are being auctioned with a freehold guide price of £10,000.
The principal site has a telecommunications mast and electrical substation on it, which are not included in the sale, while the other site is predominately woodland.
There is said to be a rental return of £1,500 per annum from a partial lease of a section of the land, for the telecommunications mast.
In Redruth, the council has instructed the sale of freehold land next to a house in Gladstone Terrace, which has a guide price of £500 plus.
The rectangular patch, measuring about 0.01 hectares (0.04 acres), is currently being used for informal parking.

Bidding goes live on Monday, December 9 and ends on Wednesday, December 11.
