A body has been found in the search for a 23-year-old man from Hayle who went missing last week.
Police were notified yesterday, Monday, December 2, to reports of a body of a man being located along the coastline in St Agnes.
Formal identification has yet to take place. The family of Max Brooks, who was reported missing from Hayle on November 28, have been informed and are being supported by officers.
Police appealed for the public’s help to find Mr Brooks from the Hayle area who went missing possibly wearing slippers.
Max was last in the Gwithian area at around 4.20pm on Thursday November 28 and it was likely he was travelling on foot.
Max was described as a white male, around 5ft 10ins tall and of slim build with dark shoulder length hair and was last seen wearing a light green hoodie, jogging bottoms and may have been wearing slippers.
Searches were carried out and the police appealed to the public to report any sightings or information that could help them.
