Live music, plays and dance performances could be held at Swanpool if a licence is granted in just over a week’s time.
Peter Lochrie, who runs the Swanpool beach cafe and car park, has also applied for a licence to show films and play recorded music.
The licence would run from April through to October, for “occasional use.”
The application is due to be considered and either granted or refused at a licensing sub committee meeting at Carrick district council on January 26.
