The public are are being asked to report any sightings of potentially hazardous chemicals after bottles washed up on two Cornish beaches.
The bottles of chemicals, contained in a green bag, wrapped in a clear polythene bag have the potential to cause harm. They were spotted after floating ashore on beaches in the Fowey and Polridmouth areas.
A police spokesman said that anyone comes across the bottles should leave them in place and contact the police or Coastguard with their location.
