Airline Ryanair is reportedly planning to sue Cornwall count council over the closure of Newquay Airport.
The airline is reported to have said the claim would include damages for its loss of reputation, when it had to cancel flights at the last minute.
The airport had to close to flights in November because of a delay in an aviation licence being granted to the county council, when it took over responsibility from the RAF.
The county council has said it cannot comment on a contractual issue.
