The Truro Support Group for Marie Curie Cancer Care has started preparations for their annual fundraising ball. The Black and Gold Ball will take place on Saturday, March 14, at the Green Lawns Hotel in Falmouth.
The evening promises delicious food, music and luxury raffle prizes.
All funds raised will go directly to supporting the work of the local Marie Curie Nursing Service.
Organisers are hoping busineses will support the event by donating prizes, advertising within the programme for the evening or by booking tables at the event.
Phillip Buddell will be comparing the auction and it is hoped thousands of pounds will be raised which is desperately needed to continue funding nursing care for terminally ill patients in the area.
Tickets are £30 and this includes a complimentary drink on arrival. Tickets are available by calling Nikki on 01872 260500.
