Fire crews have put out a small blaze at the base of a communication tower in Pool.
Crews from Camborne and Redruth were called to Trevenson Road at 7.45pm yesterday where they found the fire had broken out in electrical communication equipment contained in an 8m by 4m building.
Crews used a thermal image camera to check for hot spots and an engineer from Western Power was called to isolate the electricity supply. The building was then ventilated.
