Truro High School is one of the top twenty girls’ day and boarding schools in the country according to the best-schools.co.uk website.
The school’s position has been achieved on the basis of the percentage of A and B grades scored at A Level. This year that percentage was 82.19% - making Truro High the best school in Cornwall, the best girls’ school in the South West peninsula and the nineteenth best in the country as a whole.
Perhaps even more important in these financially challenging times, Truro High has the most reasonable fees in the top fifty list – offering real value for money.
Headmistress Jane Abbotts said: “Not only are our academic results excellent and extra-curricular programme broad, but our newly refurbished boarding house gives the girls a real home-from-home setting so that they can work and play hard too.
“We regularly welcome prospective boarding students for taster sleepovers and a day’s lessons to give girls a feel for what boarding life is like.”
