The King Harry Ferry was back in service today after being halted yesterday because of strong winds.

Ferry boss Tim Light said at one stage on Saturday, winds of 67mph were recorded im King Harry Reach and there was no alternative but to halt the service.

Today it was a case of clearing up after the overnight rain and high winds.

Mud and leaves were the worst problem as drains became blocked.

Further heavy rain this afternoon in the Truro and Falmouth area made matters worse and debris litter the main road between the two towns.

The forecast is not good with thunder storms and hail storms being forecast by the Met Office.
