METHODIST CHURCH: Morning service was led by fellowship group leader, Barbara Hill, and was assisted by Tracey Andrews and Edna Angove. Donald Hearn gave the address.
CHURCHES TOGETHER IN HELSTON AND WENDRON: On Sunday afternoon members of the congregations of local churches attended the first service in the week of Christian Unity, held in the Andrew Hall. Clergy from the Anglican Methodist and Catholic churches took part and the sermon was given by Father Jon Belowski of the Catholic church.
During the week, short lunchtime services followed by a light lunch will be held at 12.45pm on Monday at St Mary’s, Wednesday at St Michael’s and on Friday at the Methodist church in Coinagehall Street. All are welcome to attend.
