A Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel comprising Mike Curling (chair), John Doubleday and Nigel Gillingham, met at the Bristol Filton Holiday Inn on Monday, when they suspended Cornish Pirates prop forward Dan Seal for one week.
The player, who was recently charged with striking contrary to law 10(4)(a) after being sent off in a match played against Otley, is free to play again on 26th January.
