At least one casualty has been airlifted to hospital following a two-vehicle collision near Truro just over half an hour ago.
A red Fiat Punto and a red Peugeot 306 have collided B3284 at Allet, near Truro.
Police officers, fire fighters and the air ambulance are currently at the incident.
A police spokesperson said the extent of the injuries sustained by causalities is not known, but at least one person has been airlifted to the Royal Cornwall Hospital at Treliske.
The road is completely blocked.
