MAWGAN United have been kicked out of the Falmouth and Helston League following a meeting of officials last night.
The decision came after the club failed to turn up to two consecutive fixtures.
A statement from the Falmouth/Helston Football League said: "Following a meeting of the League Management Committee on Tuesday, January 20, it was agreed with immediate effect to expel Mawgan United FC from the league under rule 5H: (A club having failed to comply with an order or instruction of the Management Committee, or failing to satisfactorily attend to the business and/or the correspondence of the competition, shall be liable to be fined or otherwise penalised at the discretion of the Management Committee.) The club was also fined an undisclosed sum of money."
