The future of St Keverne Parish Hall could be at risk of closure in its 30th anniversary year unless new committee members can be found.
The committee has contacted the Packet to say that although it would like to arrange a celebration to mark the landmark occasion, there is a fear that the hall will not remain open long enough to hold one.
Four long-standing officers of the committee are due to retire at the next annual general meeting on April 21.
They are the chairman, the treasurer and two licensees – and the hall cannot function without them.
The committee is now appealing for more people to come forward to take on the roles and keep the hall running.
