It was a bad day for getting shut in enclosed spaces on Saturday when three people became trapped in lifts in Truro and Falmouth.
Fire fighters were first called to Pydar Street in Truro, at 3.25pm.
They quickly released the two people who had become shut in the lift, which had become stuck.
A fire crew was then called to Arwenack Avenue in Falmouth, where a lift had also stopped working.
The fire fighters again quickly rescued the person who had become trapped, at 6.15pm.
