ST GLUVIAS CHURCH: Canon John Harris was the celebrant and preacher at the Parish Mass in honour of The Conversion of St Paul. The first reading, taken from the book of Jeremiah chapter 1 v 4-10, was read by Christopher Gardner. The second reading taken from Acts chapter 9 v 1-22 by Father Christopher Firth. Father John proclaimed the gospel according to Matthew chapter 19 v 27-30 and also led the prayers of intercession. Chalice assistants were Norton Clothier and Fr Christopher and the organist was Daniel Shermon. Evensong and Benediction took place at 6pm.
Holy Communion is celebrated on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 8am; Wednesday at 9.15am and Friday at 12.15pm.
Services on Sunday, The Presentation of Christ in the Temple, 8am Low Mass; 10am Blessing of Candles, Procession and Parish Mass; 2.30pm Launch Service for the Year of the Child at Truro Cathedral; 6pm Evensong and Benediction.
