FRIENDS OF PRINCESS PAVILION: On Thursday the friends held the first free patio entertainment for 2009 and were very lucky to have a dry, calm day.
The Cober Valley Accordion Band provided the entertainment and the delighted audience joined in the singing of all the well-known songs and were sorry when they announced they were going to play the last tune for the afternoon. The audience stood and sang with gusto the Cornish song Trelawney.
The friends would like to thank all the people for supporting the event and bringing raffle prizes and tickets.
The next patio entertainment will be on February 19, when Roger Polmere will provide the entertainment.
