Works will take place in Truro city centre from Monday February 2 for five days on the junction of Little Castle Street and Kenwyn Street to repair a collapsed drainage system.
CORMAC will be carrying out the works and apologise for the unavoidable disruption involved in carrying out these essential works.
The works will require a road closure, on Little Castle Street, between Monday February 2 and Friday February 6 for the safety of the workforce and the travelling public.
All businesses will remain open whilst the works take place and pedestrian access to businesses and properties will be maintained throughout the works. A diversionary route for vehicles will be in operation during the road closure.
In addition to the drainage repairs, the opportunity will be taken to carry out works on the loading bay on Little Castle Street. This is the first stage of works following consultation on the introduction of various waiting and loading restrictions along Frances Street, Edward Street, Little Castle Street, River Street, Calenick Street and Kenwyn Street.
