More details have been revealed over TV stylist Gok Wan's visit to Truro.

Gok wowed onlookers as he set his magic to work at Children's Hospice South West's shop in Truro last Thursday.

Gok was in the shop, at Victoria Square, filming for his latest series of Gok's Fashion Fix, on Channel 4 in the spring, and created quite a stir in the city. After earlier sightings around Truro, he attracted a large crowd as he used his talents to dress the mannequins in the charity shop window.

Emma Lloyd, Children's Hospice South West's Precious Lives Appeal Manager said: "The shop is always very well presented, but definitely had the most stylish window display in Truro after Gok had finished with it."

She added: "Our charity shop stocks quality clothes, jewellery, and accessories so is always a good place to look for stylish items even when Gok's not there.

The charity shop, which opened in May last year, raises vital funds to support life-limited children and their families in Cornwall.

Gok then went to the Vanilla Bar in Duke Street where he attracted more crowds and talked fashion with a few of the customers.

He and his production team were also spotted at Mannings Hotel.
