Children at Camborne's Flying Start nursery embraced the cold weather with an arctic day on Wednesday.
The youngsters explored ice and snow and learnt about how people lived their lives in the extreme cold. They even explored the wildlife and some real arctic fish.
Nursery manager Kerry Baker said that it was a great success.
"There was enormous interest from children after the cold spell of weather we had at the beginning of January," she added.
