It was all in the name as "A do with a view" was held overlooking Cadgwith Cove, raising money for the Lizard Lifeboat Appeal.
The view did not let the event down, with the hog roast enjoyed in a field belonging to Will Bowmen of Gwarvas Jersey Farm.
The marquee was filled to capacity as guests enjoyed the food and live entertainment throughout the evening.
The bar was set up and run by Adam Weston, owner of The Witchball Restaurant in The Lizard, and the hog was roasted and served by village butchers Colin and Elaine Retallack and Steve Vincent.
Lyndsay Bray, from the Lizard Tamar Lifeboat Appeal committee, said: "With so many to mention, organisers of the event want to thank everyone who helped in making the evening so successful. A special mention of thanks must go to Gillian Cuff and Sarah Drummond who worked tirelessly to ensure the evening ran smoothly."
All the money is going towards a new lifeboat that will be housed in new lifeboat station at Kilcobben Cove in early 2012.
