Budding Terry Wogans from Falmouth Primary have been taking to the airwaves with the help of a local radio station.
The youngsters who make up the school’s Radio Club have been taking on the roles of a radio station team and on Friday visited the state-of-the-art media centre at the Tremough Campus to record their very own show to be broadcast on The Source FM This month the pupils will be talking about rainforests, and how their protection is vital and the pupils will prepare a new topic and report every month.
Headteacher, Claire Smith said: “The facilities at Tremough are fantastic and everyone is always so helpful. It is wonderful for the pupils to be able to come here and broadcast to the towns.”
The Source FM is a community radio station, made by and for people who live and work within a five-mile radius of Falmouth and Penryn.
