Lizard's lifeboat will be rehomed at one of three different places in the area during a £6million building project to create a new station at Kilcobben Cove, The Lizard.
It is expected to take 18 months to complete and during that time the boat will be moored at Polpeor, Cadgwith or at Kilcobben Cove itself.
The crew will be having to move the boat between these sites depending on the weather.
